What is a National School of Excellence?

At a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and PTA is a key partner for continuous school improvement.

This designation is awarded by National PTA and lasts for two years.

How do we get the designation?

Granger Elementary families and community members help identify areas of success or needed improvement through a baseline survey.

What’s next?

Once we have collected survey answers, we will assemble an Excellence Team to review the information and choose one focus area for family engagement: education, health and safety, or arts. The Excellence Team will identify a shared objective to achieve within the focus area during the 2019-2020 school year.
